Ion offer a couple of film scanners which are nice and compact along with offering a really nice quality digital photo once scanned. They started off with a USB scanner, which is still available and is very affordable. However, they have recently launched the Film2SD scanner, which seems to be selling really well. The Film2SD film scanner doesn’t require a computer, which means you can use it anywhere. A big problem with a lot of film scanners is their inability to work without a computer, which means a lot of carting around suitcases of old photos from Grandparents/Parent’s houses to be able to scan them. The Film2SD scanner will store your photos onto an SD card which means you can transfer the photos onto your computer when you are home and it is convenient for you.
Ion may be better known for their audio products. They have made some good speaker systems and a very popular USB record player.
